Grilled Prawn Tikka
Serves 4
700g raw prawns butterflied open
Marinade
1 cup yoghurt
1/2 lemon juiced
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
2 spring onions finely sliced
1 tbs tomato paste
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/ tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp chilli flakes
1. In a large bowl add all the marinade ingredients and mix well. Add butter flied prawns and gently mix prawns through the marinade.
2. Cover bowl with cling wrap and place in the fringe for 2 hours or longer for a stronger taste.
3. Preheat oven to 200c.
4. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Place all the prawns on the baking tray, trying not to overlap the prawns. Place in the oven and cook for 10 minutes or until all the prawns are cooked.
