Marinated Beef Ribs
800g to 1 kilo beef ribs
1 tbs coriander seeds toasted and grounded
1/2 tbs dried oregano
1 tbs pimenton (smoked paprika)
1 tbs salt
1/2 tbs cracked pepper
3 cloves garlic finely chopped
Rib glaze
1 clove of garlic chopped
2 red onions chopped into wedges
1 tbs fresh oregano
2 tbs red wine vinegar
3 tbs honey
Nuts & Bolts
1. In a large bowl add all the above spices. Mix well. add beef ribs using your hands rub mixture all over ribs. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. ( for better results marinate over night).
2. Preheat oven to 200c.
3. Wrap ribs in foil and place onto a baking tray. Place in oven and cook for 2 hours. Once cooked for 2 hours pour glaze mixture over the top of the ribs. cover and cook for 20 minutes.
4. remove ribs from oven open up foil. Place back into oven for 20 minutes.
