Pizza Dough
1 kg white bread flour
1 tsp fine sea salt
2 x 7 g dried yeast sachets
1 tbs sugar
3 tbs olive oil
600-650 ml warm water
Nuts & Bolts
1. Using a clean work surface sieve flour on your bench, make a well in the middle. In a jug mix the yeast, sugar and olive oil into the warm water and leave for a few minutes, then pour into the well. Using your hand bring the flour in gradually from the sides and mix it into the liquid. Keep mixing, drawing larger amounts of flour in. Knead until you have a smooth springy dough.
2. Place the ball of dough in a large flour-dusted bowl and flour the top of it. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and place in a warm area for one hour or until the dough has doubled in size.
3. Remove the dough to a flour-dusted surface and knead it around a bit to push the air out with your hands. Divide dough up into as many portions of pizza's you are making, should be enough for 6-7 pizza's
