Turkish Chilli Kebabs

serves 3 

 

600g chicken thigh fillets cut into cubes

6 wooden skewers

Marinade

2 tbs basil olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp white pepper

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp pimenton

1 tbs crushed garlic paste

1 tsp peppers Aleppo ( Turkish chilli flakes)

1. Place all the marinade ingredients into a bowl and mix. Add chicken pieces and coat with marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or over night for a better result.

2. Thread chicken pieces onto the skewer, ( adding other ingredients onto the skewers like 

zucchini, capsicum, onion, tomato. or you can just have chicken.

3.  Using a BBQ or a grill pan, on medium heat cook kebabs on each side for 2-3 minutes. Or until the chicken is cooked all the way through.
