Caramelized Brussels Sprouts
Serves 2
1/2 tbs olive oil
1 small red onion sliced
2 cloves garlic finely chopped
80g sliced bacon
2 sprigs thyme
400g Brussel sprouts cleaned
1/4 cup chicken stock
Nuts & Bolts
1. In a frying pan on medium heat add oil, onion, garlic and bacon, cook for 3 minutes.
2. Add brussel sprouts and thyme cook for 5 minutes, add color to the sprouts. Add chicken stock. Mix well. Cook for a further 4 minutes or until sprouts are tender.
Ready to eat.
